I havea custum made from y pipe back either 2.5 or 3" back to 2 magnaflow mufflers with SS tips. Its not back, sometimes get a litttle drone at certain speeds but open it up and watch out. Especially with the fujita I just added.

I wouldnt remove it completely... I tried that for about three blocks. Have someone cut it out and install a much smaller aftermarket one. I love the noise. I have a Magnaflow resinator, 2.5" pipe back to two Magnaflow 14816's. I also had the large crimped section replaced.
