I would get black or just the stock zinc plated hub...I have the zinc plated hub on blank rotors.

I prefer the standard ZINC all around myself. I think the colored rotors end up looking "ricey" IMHO.

The zinc hubs are nice as well.....clean looking. Maybe I'll just get them.

Can't wait to get these rusted POS's off my car.

Dude, I felt 100% the same. I did a quick comparison of the stocks vs. Zinc'd during replacement and man it is like NIGHT and DAY!! Such an inexpensive mod that adds an incredible impact to the looks of your car. Unbelievable really how crappy the stock ones look once you see them. I love it!

Oh yeah!

Looks gr8 Mack. Are you looking to add a BBK to the front? I'm selling mine, never been mounted. Paid 600 plus shipping, looking to get 500 shipping included.

Haven't started yet, I'm trying to sell my Wilwood calipers so that I can go with Rotora's all the way around.

I ordered the drilled/slotted rotors, zinc hubs, and hawk hps pads.

I might as well paint my calipers while I have everything off.

Is the G2 caliper paint better then Duplicolor stuff you can get at autzone?

Maybe silver caliper w/ black Nissan lettering or black w/ silver lettering.

Those look just like mine. Man I bet you can't wait to get 'em on. You won't believe how much of an impact they'll make to the car. Show us some pics when they're on!

I paid $350 shipped for the rotors and Hawk HPS pads.

Yes they are the same size as OEM just pull the calipers off, change the rotors and put the new pads in.

Ebay link here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...mZ280051787533

I emailed Rich direct and placed the order threw email. I had some questions so it was easier this way instead of going threw ebay

Just painted the calipers silver w/ the G2 caliper paint.....what a PITA that was. 3 coats took me a couple hours non-stop.

I have everything apart in the garage...I'll get some pics tomorrow when it's back together. Waiting for this caliper paint to cure before reassembly .

So do slotted/drilled rotors make the brake pads wear faster since its kinda like a cheese grater effect? Also, when the rotors get worn, what do you do with them? Can you turn and resurface it or just replace them completely??

Hey JG1, this is off topic but is that a 07 spoiler on your 05 max? I am curious, did you originally have the lip spoiler on there? I want to get one like yours to replace my lip but I dont want to plug up the holes and get it repainted, too expensive for me... did you have to do this?

Yeah it's on 07' spoiler. I didn't have the lip spoiler because I have an SL. Fortunately I didn't have any holes to plug up.

The pads don't get sliced on the slots....they're recessed and perfectly flat.

Not sure what to do when the rotors get worn....guess buy new ones...lol.

BTW, these are also available in "black zinc" but keep in mind that the black will wipe out where the pads touch the surface.
