A warning to others...
So I'm pulling out of my driveway and turn my steering-wheel all the way counterclockwise, and here a really bad scraping sound coming from the driver side front tire. But only when the car is moving and the wheel is all the way counterclockwise.
I just got wider tires installed but it did not make any sense that it would rub on only one side. So I jack the car up and remove the driver side front wheel/tire. This is what I found...
This part sticking out is called a "member stay pin". It helps stabalize the "front suspension member". It is held on by 1 big screw and two smaller screws. The two smaller screws were gone. Probably someplace between Arizona and Nevada. So I check the otherside and those screws are about to fall out. I tightened them to 20lbs and now I'm in the market for a new "member pin stay". Unless someone jacked me and I'm the only one--you all should check the two smaller screws holding the "member pin stay" onto the body of your car.
This is a picture of the passenger side and what the driver side SHOULD look like.

I ended up just buying a "new" one. It costed $38.
