6th Gen Subwoofer Setup

Guys I've been wanting to add a couple of subs to the Bose system but prefer more of a "custom" look than just a bigass box thrown in the back. I've been checking this out on ebay so let me know your thoughts on this and/or if you guys have shots of your custom setups please do share. Thanks!

It looks nice. Kinda pricey! Where would you going to put the amplifier?

I think if they had something that accomodated the amplifier into a "custom" look along with the enclosure that would be very nice.

Again, looks nice!

I have that box for my set up! Its great in saving the trunk space.

I have a quick pic of it. I have two alpine 12" subs in there.

Hey I think this is a better pic. My amp for now is on the back of the box.
Planning on doing something for the amp. I know jsmithole has the same set up with 10" subs and he built a custom amp rack for his amp.

Yeah man that looks great. Hey with this setup how easy is it to pull the box out in case you have to load up the trunk? But yeah man that is DAMN nice. I think I may get that setup with 10's.

I was looking at that box too.

So how much are we looking at for a couple decent 10's or 12' and an amp?

So there's clearance behind it (Between the seat back and the backside of the box)? How much would you say? I was looking at the same box but in a single 12 so i can mount my carpc stuff to the other side of the box.

Not much clearance in this picture LOL but I guess if you pulled it back a bit you would have some. Probably isn't great for the amp though with no airflow back there. Still, options are limited so gotta go with whatcha can I guess.

I wouldnt think its that hard to take the box out. Its not as heavy as you would think.

Well weight isn't an issue. Say I want to head to Home Depot and pickone some long 2x4's or something and need to let the seats down to fit 'em through the trunk. I want to be able to pull these out if needed, BUT would also like to enjoy the benefits of a relatively custom looking box instead of those pre-made things at best buy. Know what I'm sayin'?
