Tail light overlays with grey trim - installed!!
I got the rear tail light trim and installed it. It is a grey color and offsets the black overlay and red lense really nicely. I love it and have gotten lots of comments already by people who see the car. What do ya all think now?

I'm not a fan of the overlays but man I saw a Mercedes S500 today, BRAND SPANKIN' NEW and the tail lights looked EXACTLY like these. Damn near identical, same color and all. Thought it was interesting.

dues, hey i'm not tryin to sound like a hater, but i just got on to the forum, and the first thing i layed eyes on was that black turtle-fetus-looking -cluster f*#k you call a maxima. There are more mods on that car than rosie o'donnel has fat roles. The object of owning a nice car is not to buy every single modification available for it. I have seen better wheels on a target shopping cart. I also checked out your car domain, and the best picture is of when u first got it. I just bought a turtle, and i think if i painted it black, it would look just like your car. I would rather get car design tips from the japanese guy who designed the Gamecube. Well anyway, enjoy your day, and your turtle car, tootles.

deus that looks great man. now i'm convinced on the lights. however, what's going on with the reverse light man? he didn't take into consideration any of the comments we made in the other forum? the two top lights look great. the reverse light is too small right now and should also have the grey border around it to make it match AND stand out more. if he gets that part right, i'm getting a pair of these :-)
as always, thanks for being the guinea pig...i mean, pioneer
EDIT: you know, after looking at it again, i think the best thing he could do, based on the angle of the lower light, would be to actually have the reverse light cutout be round like it is originally but a little bit smaller and with the grey border. tell him to try that in photoshop, i think that would be it.

The black part (or whatever color you choose) is one piece and the Grey (or whatever color you choose) is separate. The main film should be installed by a pro, but the trim can be done fairly easily. I also installed my headlight eyebrows fairly easily.
