Iridium Spark Plugs

On Nissan website under engine specs, it has Iridium spark plugs listed for the Altima. The Maxima still has Platinum plugs. The Maxima isn't good enough for nissan anymore ?????

The new Gen VQ35DE (found in 2007 Altimas) is not the same exact engine, therefore may require different spark plugs.

I can't remember the stock heat rating off the top of my head of the new Altima VQ, anyone?

I put NGK iridium plugs in my max at 50k (now has almost 60k on it). It runs great. Don't know why I changed them... I guess I just wanted to see how fun it was to take half the friggin engine apart to change the back three plugs (by the way, it was every bit as fun as I imagined and more....)
