Lamborghini Doors...

First of all, Id like to start the thread by saying, Please no flaming/worthless contributions....

Ok now to the point. Ive recently had the idea of putting a Lamborghini door kit on either my maxima or audi. Im spesfically looking for something that opens both in the normal door hinge way and the 90 Deg. Nothing too extreme though, I was wondering if you guys know any quality kits, can set me in the right path for things to look out for or the +/- parts of the situation. All comments welcome just please dont flame. You may think its ricey and you can say that but im looking for something that doubles up and opens normally and upward.

Thanks alot,
I VIK I

IMO Lambo doors just never work with a 4 door. but its all preference. to each his own. Ive seen it look good on some maximas, generally the ones with saved handles and no trim stripe. One Set up I do like is ive lambo doors for the front doors and suicide doors for the back.

I thought about lambo doors, but to do it right costs around $2k for bolt on doors, and they are heavy. I love the look though. I think lambo suicide doors would be da bomb!!!

Yea I get what your saying, But Im looking to do just the front doors. I dont like suicide I was contemplating them but then nobody even sits in the back, those doors never open. What kits do you recommend?

I'd shoot for a bolt on kit so you can swap ur hinges back. There are kits which vary the angle that the doors open based on personal preference. Some people like the doors opening up higher than others.

If you get lambos you are going to be very paranoid. You will have to open the door for your passenger to make sure they dont open or close it wrong.
That also means no more quick entries and exits from your vehicle.
I know the person that owns this vehicle and knows what she goes through.

For show purposes only, IMO. Take the crazy money it costs for the kit and buy something that you can see or use everyday.

I would reccomend contacting "Chulo" at the 6th gen website. He's got them. He might be able to help direct you.

I remember speaking to chulo quite a while ago, He wasnt particularly happy on what he did, He said he used to work at a body shop so he got it done cheap, But other then that seemed like he had regretted the decision simply because of wear and tear.

I agree. Lambo bolt on kit will be some extra added weight, but its all what you want. I think the Lambo doors would look sik on your maxima personally. I think if your going to do the lambo's on the font, you should suicide your abck doors which will cost probably 2k as well...But man you do that, your **** will be sik! Might as well keep going and cusotmize your trunk and hood hinges as well

I wouldn't suggest getting lambo doors. It's your car though, you don't need our approval. It's all about your personal preference.

BBK> Lambo doors IMO and you don't have to open the doors for people to notice them and they shave weight off your car...

LOL, Thank me later...

F Lambo doors. You know what would be cool? Suicide doors! w00t! ala the black 1965 Lincoln Continental used in the first matrix movie. Sorry guys, this was the best pic I could find but still looks kickass!

C'MON TELL ME THIS WOULDN'T BE SICK ON A 6TH GEN!?
