Any way around paying 170 for a MM?
Took my car to the dealer Saturday and they told me my lower front motor mount is splitting. Cost: $170+labor. Ouch! My belts are also cracking and rear pads less than 50%. Chaching chaching chaching $$$.

Yeah, I know the MMI is not a replacement. I'll just be taking it easy until I can get it replaced. For the pads and belts I'll just shop around.

U dont need to bleed the brakes as long as you dont open the brake lines. When I replace pads, I hang the caliper with coat hanger while I put the pads in, so that the brake line doesnt stretch or break.
With respect to the MMI, I have installed my MMIs yet, but I did remove the rear motor mount to do the front sway bar, and it wasnt that hard, and thats the harder of the two mounts.
The motor mounts need replacing when you hear buzzing or scraping sounds upon hard acceleration. The sound you're hearing is the motor shifting around and contacting something that it shouldnt be contacting.
I figure, if you save money on labor, you can buy more parts, wooohooo!!!
