I guess there wasent anything on the back side holding the lens on?

No. There were a ton of screws, but they just held the chrome piece inside in place. When the screws were removed, the chrome piece floated around inside freely, but the stupid lens was still stuck on rock solid....

Yeah, I gave up. I am going to order some tinted overlays from Blue Bat and give that a try again...

Not sure if anyone talked about this, IM SURE THEY DID, but goto a tint shop and have them tint your tails... there are 4 shades... small..med..dark...limo...

it cost me 25 bucks a side....




P.s. Old nasty rims sure were nasty :P hahaha

Im kinda new at all these mods... I've been thinking about tinting my rear lights and after reading all comments I see that the rear is harder than the front ones, which i dont think about tinting. How should I go? overlays, paint the inside or nightshades(what ever that is)

ALL taillights need to be cut with a dremel and resealed with glue and silicone. My friend does LED taillights for cars as a living and every set he had to cut them open. The oven doesn't work on this one.
