We have been discussing the effects of what having a larger MAF housing will do for performance. So far we know that it improves throttle response and overall performance. There is some tuning required as adding a larger MAF housing causes the engine to run lean. So the aid of an AFC or similar tuning device along with wideband o2's for 04 6th gens are needed to tune.

I have heard that the 350Z fuel injectors are 20mm larger than the Maxima's. Would this help the lean condition if 350Z injectors were used?

Did you mean they flow 20 more cc per hour? (A34's 315cc vs Z33's 335cc @3.5 Bar).

I have Z33 injectors, and I was still lean when I added this upgraded MAF housing. You would need some pretty massive injectors to compensate.
