if my memory serves me right, I think the only bulb that can be removed is the reverse light bulb, I'll find out for sure though, are you trying to meet code?

Thanks for the quick reply. I just need a set with amber light instead of red for the blinkers, because of the Euro traffic regulations here... Maybe your company can fabricate a single set just for me? It's not about money!

there is no official price as of now, or when, I talked to ipcw and told them not give me anymore "they'll be in in two weeks, or they are in the way" anymore cause we all know what happens, so when ever they get a shipping ticket, with an official date, it will be posted here,

and brio, this is what I meant and about the amber lights, my company is not the one making this thing, im just the one who passed on the idea (that was born here in this forum) to this guys, and decided to become a distributor for them, , about the amber lights I'll see what I can do.

It's not so much a discount that I think we'd all like, but more so the product itself ya know. No worries though. We've all been patient this long a few more weeks or months shouldn't be no worries.

I mean, it has been what? 3 + months of waiting? Next week has turned to next month. Next month has turned... you get the idea. Have you tried looking for another company?

I thought of that too, I think whats going on is that they release the wrong info at the wrong time, with out having all the facts, this lights will be out there, they were their biggest show item at SEMA, so its just a matter of time. Last time I talked to my contact I tried to keep the friendly talk out of the conversation, and gave it a more business like tone to it, I told her we were loosing customers because of all the miss information going around (trying to imply how unprofessional they look right now, not that they are, is just that if you are not sure, you are better off not putting out a date for everyone to know) and she replied with a "I know", and once again she assured me that we were going to be the first ones to get this lights as soon as they came in, I also told her no more they'll be here next week, not until I get to see a shipping ticket, which is what im waiting for at the moment,

 

I'm sure you noticed when this thread started, in August of 06, these things take time. (and it seems like alot longer since we've been involved prior to even day one)
Design/development/prototypes/production.
First prototype arrived in April 07 (In my business, once we get a first proto it is actually about a year before the product hits the marketplace) plus I'm sure the 6th gen is not hot on their list of projects. Remember we are the bottom feeders in the mod world!!

And to go and start from scratch, I'd rather hold out for another couple of months!!

J and Max, I understand and I am sure most of us here do too, that things like these can and usually take time to develop. I don't think anyone is questioning that. What I think is happening though, is that this company is putting the customer's (us) hope high and not delivering.

Allow me to illustrate please. I am an Insurance Agent. J, lets just say you call me for an insurance quote for your business and I say J, not a problem. I will be glad to provide you with competitive quotes for your business w/in the next 3-5 days. What happens if I don't call you (like I said I would) by that 5th day? You, as my potential client will automatically think "well, obviously this guy does not keep his word. Let me go do business with someone that does". Right?

Now - the approach that I use in the business world is I will tell you it may take 3-5 days, however what I won't tell you that my goal is to have it done w/in 2days. I do this so when I call you on that second day you will most likely think to yourself "wow, this guy is good!! Not only he kept his word but he is ahead of time!" Makes sense?

Can you imagine if this ICPW (did I spell it right?) Company had done the same? Imagine if they had said, "Folks, I know you will not like this, however these lighs will not be available until August of 2008 at earliest"...... Needless to say most of us would be extremely dissapointed by the wait time, but nonetheless we would understand and patiently wait. But what this company is doing (at least from what I see posted in this awesome website), is they are using some very poor customer relations techniques. How many next week, or next month do you see posted in this thread? All I am saying is in the business world, if one keeps doing what ICPW is doing, it will come a time when no one will really believe what they are saying
