Someone else with knowledge chime in but isnt the sole purpose of a wideband monitor to read A/F ratio ????????????
EDIT: Deus, do you have any anything installed to tune your own car??

Wide bands read the a/f ratio. Some of the brands out there also can do data logging. That way you can download a host of information (some capture everything the obd2 as well as exhaust temp and boost. From that info you can see if and where you go lean or rich, times, etc. When you make changes you can compare to the previous tune. A dyno can check a/f and rpm. I have never seen all the other data given in a dyno sheet, but I imagine it could be. A tune, especially on a turbo is good for the current weather condition. When there's a large temp change more or less fueling will be needed. That would show up in the a/f and exhaust temp. The fueling curve will need to changed to compensate with whatever method you can do with your car. The goal is repeatablity. Each combination of mods to a car will like it's own "sweet spot" for a/r and exhaust temp within a safe range. A lot of hp can be lost from a lousy tune.

It's for these reasons and because wide bands are usually more accurate than tailpipe sniffers that I recommend tuning using your wide band.

Please give Chris a break. There are other thing in life that he also has to take care of. When things are done he will update the thread.

It's not like we're calling him on the phone or mailing his house...we're excited. This is an internet message board. He doesn't have to check it, and I'm sure his life doesn't revolve around it. Mine does, so I'll keep asking for updates.

Personally, I think it's great that people are showing MASSIVE interest in this thread. With interest comes anxiousness. Like it or not, Chris is the most sought after person on this board due to his willingness to take his max to the max-show it off while doing so-and his never ending insightful commentary. On this board he is thee "celebrity" and these guys are akin to the paparazzi.

If I spent +10G's on my ride I would hope it would generate HUGE interest. Imagine if you will, if there wasn't any interest...now that would be a sad.

BTW Do you know his address? Where he eats? Any help would help. Chris--->

Video people!!! Check out my new YouTube VIDs of my takeoff and drive-by, turn your speakers up because she is a silent killer, on the takeoff video, watch how the boost launches the car near the entrance of the bridge and she surges forward, what a thrill!!!

On the second VID, that turn was at 80+ and look how flat the car ran!!!

Since I choose not to shred my tires, I launch with a low rpm, wait for the tires to bite then floor it. What an amazing power pull!!!
