New Mods \ New pictures. I though I'd share these with you.

In the past two weeks I was able to accomplish couple of upgrades/mods to my maxie and I am very happy with the results.

The following were applied
1. RacingLine Strut Tower Brace
2. Wilwood 4-POT Calipers over RotorPros Rotors (front only for now)
3. 19" Nismos by RAYS wrapped in Michellin Pilot Sport A/S 245/40/19
4. Magnaflow 14807 Mufflers.
5. Shaved her

more coming soon.

Took some pictures last Saturday, nothing crazy as it was like 30 degrees and we were freezing our butts but here they are.

I understand this is not Kamil's, Christopher's, Warren's or Mark's car but it surely puts a smile on my face when I get to it.

'nuff said...here are the pics...

Real Nice.
You wouldn't happen to have a sound clip of the Magnaflow's would you. They look great, tucked under the bumper just perfect.

Very nice and of course love the Rays. Interesting pattern of lug nuts. Much wheel stealers there?

Yeah, You'd never know, until its too late. I'd like to make it just a bit harder. I would hate to loose these as this is a great set.

Nice job!!

How much were the Wilwoods?

They look great and the angles of the pics are fantabolous!! lol

I have to agree on the MF's also. They look really really good and also have the "professional" look to them.

Very Nice. That's what I'm talkin' bout!! I like how they have the Euro-sports sedan look without being overly done.

Question, is the Blue Max on different springs than the Silver one? The blue one looks lower in the pic that looks straight at them.

Thanks for your comments guys. Yeah the blue maxima looks lower but both are sitting on same exact springs. Weird.

As to wilwoods I got them from a member here because he went with another brand. That saved me 100 bucks and shipping. If you are interested Brian at FastBrakes.com has them for $590 for 4-pot and $890 for 6-pot. He also has even better kits with two-part rotors which are ultra light with aluminum hats. The 4-pot calipers are installed with ROTOPros drilled and slotted rotors and the 6POT setup comes with 13.6" rotors.

For the new users: I think the ROTOPros sells a set of rotors for front and rear for $300 and a lot of members here have them with positive results.

Hehe, thanks. I bought mine in 8/2004 and he had his mind set on an Accord. I dragged him over to nissan and in 3/2005 he bought a maxima after I showed him that standard things on a maxima were not even offered as an option on an accord. He is kind of regretting that he didn't go straight to G35 coupe but I am pretty sure once incentives on G37 or 335i kick in he will go for it. He just has to be pushed to do everything and I just haven't done any of that lately. I always joke that he is my younger brother (he is older) because I have to try the waters first and then he goes for it.

I have a roof spoiler sitting in the basement for months so I want to get that and roof painted black. Never had the time to install switch backs and other LEDs as well as Fog HIDs that I bought months ago. I gotta install what I already bought before looking for more.

Oh yeah I still have those G35 rear calipers that I have to slap on.

Nice I like the magnaflows I always wondered how the would look on a silver car. And for the wilwoods they look good by the way, did you have any problems with the rotors not centering on the calipers??

no problems installing the calipers other than one side where the caliper bracket mounts (where OEM calipers mount) one of those bumps needs to be filed. I needed to take off about 1mm to make the calipers fit. That was only on the driver side so I guess Nissan didn't make them to to very high tolerances.

Here is a little drawing I just created to show what needed to be filed off (I only needed to do it on one side), chances are you won't have to do this.

Yes, they do. They usually have a lambo or 2 sitting in brooklyn and couple of MBs and BMWs. If I was charging arm and a leg (or two) for the services I'd have those in the parking lot too.

These guys are ridiculous with their prices. I only got an amp and tints done over there because everything else was like triple the price everybody else was quoting. Not really a big fan of them although I must admit they did a smoking job on my tints and the price was only $30 more then other (decent) shops wanted to charge.

they stand by there work tho .. i wud pay the extra money out for them .. the shop by me wants 800 for a jl 1000.1 amp which isnt bad .. price is usally around 1100 or so .. yeah they did do a hott job on the tints .. 30 extra dollars for a well known shop is well spent money i think

Looks great. I actually noticed a couple of days ago that you had new wheels in the picture in you sig. I just wasn't sure if it was photochopped or real.

What springs do you have on your car?
