ELM 323 OBD II Interface

Guys,

I was just checking this out on the website where I'm considering doing a mobile PC install and saw this. Looks cool as hell for monitoring purposes and the price certainly seems right. I'm sure some of you hardcore tuners out there (Nmex etc.) already have or know about these but I didn't realize these were so cheap and with software included no less. Anyone else using this or something similar for monitoring purposes??

I bought something similar on ebay for alot more. Returned it because I didnt like the logging program. Its was great just to look at the data and codes but loggging didnt work wel for me. I used to own an autotap but that was triple the price. Let us know how it goes if you get one.

I’d buy it and try it for that price just t see how it performed. Seems underpriced for what it does, but then again, what I got is looked at as overpriced (400$), and of course there are items in between ($150-250) etc.

So I would be interested as to what and how fast it would monitor/display (how many sensor readings @ one time, and display rate). Also, it doesn’t seem to have a Nissan specific ‘option’ (i.e. AutoEnginuity, Cipher etc) so that would limit some capabilities, both monitoring and altering.
