HELP!! My door locks are going CRAZY!!!

Went to get into my car after work and the key fob wouldn't unlock the doors. I could use the actual key to unlock it and the key fob would put the window down but wouldn't unlock it.

When I hit the door unlock button inside the car it unlocks the doors, but only for a fraction of a second. It unlocks them and then IMMEDIATELY locks them again.

I got home and got out of the car and shut the door with the window down and when I shut the door.....the window went back up.....wouldn't stay down.

What the hell is going on?? Is my car possessed?? Is this somekind of anti-theft thing??

MY CAR DOES NOT WANT ME TO GET IN!!! (I did take it to a Toyota lot today.....I was looking at FJ Cruisers) My car hates me now. Christine II

First, replace the battery. You should not have to hold the unlock button that long before it unlocks the doors. Second, try the remote program instructions. If all else fails you can find a brand new nissan remote on Ebay for cheap.

If the key is not in the ignition when you use the remote, then the auto lock timing feature is active.

I don't have to hold the button in for a long time. It makes a "clicking" noise......but wont unlock the doors.

When I am in the car, and hit the unlock door button......it unlocks them then IMMEDIATELY locks them.......its bang, bang that quick.

I picked my babysitter up after work and he couldnt get in. I was hitting the unlock button but it was locking them as fast as it would unlock them. They WONT stay unlocked. I had to reach over and flip the lock with my hand.

And whats up with when I get out and shut the door with the window down and the car automatically puts the window up and locks the door??????

The battery in the fob is fine I think. It is functioning. It locks the car. Opens the window when I hold the unlock button for like 5 sec. It unlocks the trunk. Panic button works. I just cant UNLOCK the car.

Someone has got to have an answer for this. Please help. Thanks.

Maybe you just accidently found the lost keyfob in your car with the lock button pressed down at all times?

Please help this has got to ring a bell with someone? Only 20,500 miles so the dealership will have to deal with this. I just figured this was any easy fix.

If it's under warranty, let them fix it. That way if this resurfaces later, you've got documented proof.

Woke up this morning and guess what? .........it worked fine.

Only thing I can figure out is that maybe the unlock button on the fob got water in it and it dried out overnight??

I dont know but thanks for your help or for trying to help.

I really thought my car was possessed with demons.

I used to have an 03 and I seem to remember if I put it in drive, it would lock and if I put in in park, it would unlock. Am I crazy? Maybe it wasn't the Maxima I had?
