Removing hand brake cover?

I somehow managed to drop my apartment key into that stupid hole at the end of my hand brake lever. It'll cost a bit to get a copy, so I'm wondering if there's an easy way to pop out that console so I can get to it?

If you can't tell, I'm pretty lousy mechanically...

Thanks!

The plastic around the ebrake cover can be popped out, then use a magnet like the ones used for dropped tools!!!

Yeah just get your fingers on the edge with the drink holder door opened and pop it up.
