i was doin some work and i was takin out my filter box with my wrench which was about 5 inches big and i dropped it. i figured it dropped all the way down to the cover at the bottom cause i hit the bottom and heard it rattle. i couldn't get a chance to pop the bottom cover off and i drove around a while and im just wonderin cause im a panicky type of person is there any chance that wrench will f*** anythin up?

well as long as its on the bottom your fine, but if you suddenly hit a bump at a moderate speed you can pop that wrench up in the motor and that can be potentially harmful. Take it out ASAP

What????? Your wrench is in the bottom of the air filter box and you couldn't reach it? Really? So you decided to say "F" the wrench, I gotta get on the road and you left it in there? Was the garage burning down and you had to get the car out before it burst into flames?

If you cant reach it by hand use one of those extendable magnet tools those have saved me a few times from sockets in hard to reach places. Just dont put the magnet close to electronics.

From: Auburn WA,
I had a tech leave a wrench in an engine bay and it fell out and went through the tire. Kinda odd for something so big to puncture a tire but it happened. you also don't want it falling out while driving and hitting a car behind you
