If I can get a camera to take a sound clip I will but a can tell you there was absolutly no change in sound. I know there should have been a noticable change but there was none.

Is this something common with Maximas can I clean them out or do I just have to replace them, Also funny you mention that cause when I dump it there is aton of smoke from the exhaust. I know there is to be some at first cause of the fuel dump in the cylinders but mine is the whole time I have it down almost like a smoke screen.

Somethings not right...
I removed mine when I put my Magnaflows on. What a mistake. I couldnt hear anything but the car. I turned right around and had an aftermarket one installed.
Carbon build up isnt good. Better have it all checked.
BTW, post some pics.

I am not sure if you should have that much smoke pouring out? In my maxima I have some bolt ons and dont have any smoke other than the tires Also, I own a wrx and no smoke to speak of (grantedboth still have their cats on but doesnt yours?). I can understand some when start up but everytime you floor it doenst sound right to me. I would pull a plug and check it to see what is going on with the fuel system.

Well definitly not a clogged cat, cause the car still has a lot of power, and how do you have them check it just pull of the exhaust and clean it???? Also you added mufflers the same time you did you resonator soem that may have helped by making it loud. I did not want it to be loud just a little louder than stock.
