Full Suspension Upgrade Complete

well this week i just finished upgrading my front sway bar, front endlinks, and motor mounts. nd i'd lik to say that the sway bar and endlinks make the front pretty tight...only thing now is that i need to find some real nice bucket seats cause i'm slippin and slidin inside. along with the front strut bar.

so as far as suspension goes.

KYB Gr2s struts
KYB AGX shocks
Progress Springs all around
Progress Rear Sway Bar
Altima SE-R Front Sway Bar
RacingLine Tower Strut Bar
RacingLine Endlinks Front & Back

and let me tell you this makes the car pretty tight around corners and still pretty smooth on highways. a little bouncy on NYC streets though.

other notes the motor mounts are pretty diesel. i think i understand why they are sooo useful. only thing is now my wheels chirp now on lauch. and heavy launchs are insane. a lot less jerk inside the car. and i feel personnaly a lot more power to the wheels. i think next time i'mma put in solid motor mounts. tehe...

i'll try to put up some pics when i come around to it.

Excellent, another advantage is you lesson the squat and when you launch, the car stays flat. Last, for street driving if the rear AGX are dialed to 8 (Firmest) the car will feel bouncy, I dialed mine down to 4-5 and it seemed like a great mix of handling and comfort. Again excellent job and super setup.

I sat in cloth EVO seats and would honestly prefer those because they make less "noise"

I'm trying to do a full suspension upgrade very similar to yours. I also live in the metro NY area, so is there a shop or store where I can go to buy all or most of these items? I'd rather buy them directly instead of ordering them because I am sort of pressed for time. If the store can order them for me thats fine too.

What you said didn't make sense. You are presed for time so you want to buy parts locally but don't mind waiting for the store to order them. These parts all come from one source!

According to my logic, this just doesn't make sense.

Elaborate and enlighted me here.

Alright, relax. Just forget I said anything about time and just tell me if there are any shops around that could help me get the suspension items that I am looking for.

You get them all here from GD section or from the places Chernmax listed above. No local place will carry these. YOu get them in a week and take them to pretty much any shop to have them installed. Don't forget to get an alignment when they are done.

What exactly are the endlinks going to do for the car? Support?

I had Wedge Engineering weld me up brackets that fit GREAT. They bolt to the seat which bolts directly to the car. I prefer no controls because you can adjust it forward and back, MUCh faster. The recliner is slow because its a **** u turn. Let me tell ya. . .I LOOOOOOVE these seats.

Endlinks transfer energy faster (due to their thickness) to the anti-sway bar thus providing better stability in turns or during side to side maneuvering. Short answer, tightens your **** UP!!! Overall flatter ride...

actually that is true i really don't use all the functions on my chair. i just use the sliding back and forth and reclining part of the chair. both of which is really slow...

hey if its leather the thing i'm kinda thinking about is the fact that during the winters...YO MY BUTT WARMERS...they'll be gone! OMG...thats not koo especially with leather seats...in NYC winters...buh hey global warming. its all good.

the mounts that your friend made for you. any thing special or just self explains?
