Mesh

Hey guys - I searched but couldn't find anything on this - where can I find a mesh to put on that lower part of the RLM/Concept front bumper?

Thanks.

There was a thread on this a while back; go to the link below. I found lots of mesh options there:

MissMiami, I missed it somewhere but where did you buy your grill. I have a black 08 max that needs some life to it. I saw the pics of your car and was inspired.

Holy crap their stuff is expensive. Just google wire mesh or wire cloth and there are tons of places that sell it for at least half those prices.

I got it on eBay. I needed a new grille for my new front end! It's an E&G Classics. And as for the prices on the mesh, they're not THAT bad.

Thank you.
Do you know if the surface of the mesh is paintable? I really like the look but I want to paint the mess part black to go along with the chrome border.

I'm guessing if you really prep it well. I'm toying with the idea as well.

Try powdercoating the mesh. It should be paintable too.

I painted my E&G. I sanded, primed and painted and it came out great. With that 07-08 grille, you can easily tape off the chrome surround, if you want.

A lot of the suppliers deal in bulk and require some legwork on the purchasers part so they can get you a quote. I've used this stuff in designing water filtration equipment and $40 for a small strip is a ripoff.
