Chernmax Phase III complete :-)

OK, Phase III complete. Had the RLM bumper removed, shaved (1.5" off bottom; scrap less), refiber-glassed and painted, also had the hood, front fenders resurfaced after 4 years of rock dings and repainted. Had all ground affects also removed sanded/painted. Activetuning Grill and Roof painter Onyx Black and added JDM Style roof spoiler from Jose at http://www.ionicdynamics.com/ also Onyx black

Last also had interior door handle trim painted to match the exterior Red Opulence color...

I still intend to have the intercooler powdercoated black so it's on my list...

Pictures...

how did you attach the roof spoiler, just 3m rape? Mind telling me how it lined up, you know how it sits on the plastic parts, did you have any space or did it completely cover the plastic part..thanks...ps looks great

Dig it man. I especially like the black roof w/spoiler. It's so clean. I'd be anxious to see some quarter-mile times, too now that you're turbocharged. Sweet!

All we can say is WOW. I think you need a new challenge, let's exchange cars Chern, any time...

You should drive down on March 16th to the FL meet; then I'll be sure to go, just to see the Red Heat.

Where did you get the Nismo Grill? I have looked for a Nismo grill and other Nismo components for an '04 with no results other than a shift **** and radiator cap.

Awesome Chern

I like the idea of coating the intercooler. Ive never seen that yet. IMO if you powdercoated black, and maybe added some word in red that matches your car color on the intercooler... that would look so sick. But you have the hottest max out anyways. Later bro

Great news, grill available from ActiveTuning.com, it's there S4.1 grill. I purchased the NISMO emblem on Ebay motors...

Looks sweet.....Yeah the grill looks out of place black for now. But with a powder coated black intercooler....it'll flow nicely.

car looks amazing...great job on the roof and spoiler. you should get the overlays for the chrome roof strips. are you going to fix the mufflers cause they seem to hang kinda low and not flushed with the rear? overall car looks good.

ps: i wanna see 1/4 mile times

I LOVE it Chern. I really love the black roof. Just keep going and make it look like mine, hahahaha. j/k Roof spoiler looks dynomite!!! Can you take pics of the door handles? Also, are you leaving the chrome strips or painting those too. Id really love to see red op lip on those rims, like this:

Any thoughts?>

Can't wait to get my roof/spoiler combo painted, I got the same roof spoiler as you. Got a quote of $300-325 for painting both and installation from a decent shop. Not having my maxie for 2.5 days kills me. Soon, hopefully soon.

As always, great job Chris H.

What is the exact black color on your roof. Does it have some sort of sparkle to it? My liquid silver has like particles in it and I am afraid that just black will look off. (not that its not supposed to look different)
