Brembo Cross-Drilled Rotors Setup.....

I currently have slotted (I guess those are the smooth kind of rotors, meaning no holes?) on my Maxima.

Those are the ones I currently have.....

I was wondering if the combination of these, cross-drilled Brembos

Which could be found here.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Drill...em190198811347

and these pads (which are the ones I currently have on my car)

If the combination of both the cross drilled rotors and the ceramic pads would work perfectly with each other without having to change anything out (i.e. pads because the rotors are different)?

Thank in advance

My understanding is Brembo doesn't make drilled for the 6th gen yet. Anyone selling them has drilled them, not Brembo...

Wasn't aware of that. Just did a general search for Brembo cros drilled rotors and those came up. I guess the solid ones I have will do for the time being

Slotted are the ones with the lines (it seems you figured that already).

I like the combination of both, drilled & slotted. Most people here have tried rotorpros, including Chernmax. I think that will be my next mod, will buy those on eBay.

if you say your have slotted rotors and it looks like the one in the picture, then you have blank rotors.

Having drilled rotors is unnecessary, you will not gain any kind of performance advantage what so ever, its only for visual appearance.

I would suggest another set of brembo blanks with hawk pads, thats what I have with SS lines, best combination still using the stock setup.

I agree here also. The real stopping upgarde lies with upgraded calipers.

Very true, and they are inclined to crack under high heat.

Check out these brembo's following 4 track sessions in my S2000

1st of all brembo does not sell drilled or deilled /sloted rotors. When I 1st installed drilled/sloted rotors on my car which was brought on ebay and told they were Brembo. I had no problem with them but did chage to Prorotors when I changed my rims. I complained to Ebay and the company had to take them off of ebay. It seems that this company is Bulls*iting people. You should check with chernmax if he still has his rotors for sale. He changed his whole braking system.
