Hello! I completed the 07 Bumper Swap months ago.
The top portion of the grille is actually the same as
the 2004-2006 grilles. Only the "Very" top portion though
everything else is a completely different shape. Here's a few
pics of a 07 O.E.M Grille gutted out to take on a similar appearance
to the active tuning grille for the 2004-2006. I Fabricated mine to take
on a slightly bit more aggressive appeal. Take a peek over @ 6thgenmaxima.org site for any additional information or I could do a sticky
here for some folks that are interested in the project. JRox85! Thanks bro, your compliment is very much appreciated.

When you say two different types of 07 grilles are you referring to O.E.M?
Like the 07 O.E.M Grille below? Because I didn't realize that there
was two different types.

Looks like you're going to have to hack that thing to the right shape and opening. :X I didn't have that trouble with my E&G grille...Hmm...

The finish panels on the grille? You mean the bumper? They should line right up. Are you sure you're putting them on the correct side? They are driver and passenger side specific...
