Loud ticking behind the dash...anyone else?
About an hour ago I got into my 2005 Maxima SE to hear a very loud ticking sound along with a less audible electric motor sound. It happens even when the engine is off, and nothing I do (turn on/off radio/wipers/AC/heater/etc.) affects it one way or the other.
Any clues as to what it might be?

Never mind...fixed it.
I got down under the steering wheel looked up and saw what it was. There is a large plastic triangular slide with tons of grease on it. For some reason, it got stuck. I gave it a little push a bingo...fixed.
