New pics painted parts etc...

well i was inspired by KCMAX to finish painting my engine bay parts... the last thing i need to does was the engine cover.... OOO and the Washer fluid cover and other various little nozel covers and *****... anyway... cleaned the car today and painted those...

Rims look sick!!! thanks again to coolmax for finding em' ...

Have not really modded in a while... but thats going to change very soon... I picked up a 2nd job 2 months again and im really starting to do well w/ the $$$$...

i just bought the NW mani spacer kit from "Mack"... that will go in next week...

anyway... enjoy...

need to touch it up a little bit... but not bad ... im going to paint the letters black... and smooth out around the V6 3.5

and sorry for the size... i just noticed how HUGE it was...

Looks good. I did mine and it turned out horrible. Need to redo it. Did you do special prep or just clean and paint?

no special... just cleaned... KC's came out a lot better... but its just a first coat for me... ill hit it up again tomorrow...

No problem. Im in San Francisco Bay Area right now, but coming home tomorrow which means I have to sit in my Recaro seats for 5 1/2 hours and hold my Momo steering wheel for the same amount of time - darn it!!!

Krylon Fusion... It was like 5.40 cents at "do it center"....

NOW.... im not sure how it will hold up w/ the heat...Ill post that info later when i see...

I paid so much more for my other pieces to be painted "K11" ... They look perfect though...

anyway... not bad for four bux plus...

I just used shop towels to protect from overspray and shot them with engine block gunmetal. I was getting the tires rotated at Nissan and mentioned it to my tech. He had Oriellys drop off the paint.

OT: I just painted a bunch of interior peices today... Pics tomorrow.


Any auto parts store will have caliper paint sets. Its cheaper to buy engine paint and do it with a can.
