deus this one is def for u

i was reading turbo magazine and i came across a page mentioning a new carbon fiber rim that maybe coming out by WedsSport. it weighs in at only 6 lbs. its a project as for now but i thought i would mention it. i post pics up later if i can get it.

i tried going to the company's website but since it was all in japanese i couldn't really get to it. i got the info on the wheel from this months turbo magazine.

I'm pretty sure that they weigh about 27-28lbs each...so 6lbs a wheel would = 22lbs lighter a corner...22x4=88x8=equivalent to 704lbs of dead mass...100lbs=.1 second off your time-slip...so getting the cf wheels would get you roughly .7 seconds off your time...1 second=approximately 5 car lengths

Or add time from all the excess wheel spin.

But is that safe? I mean... I would think the sheer weight of the car would crack them or somethin'

idk srry i can't get more info but it was just a page with a small box just saying wedssport is coming out with a cf wheel that weighs 6lbs. no link or anythin else was on that page....some1 find a friend who knows japenses and check out the link from the first post.

also just to give some info till i can scan the page its a 10 spoke wheel

larism-the rims are a project so far im not certain if it will actually come out anytime soon

lol even with the cf rims u want a red lip? thats crzy

i kinda got that bug i got the same onyx black and once the weather gets warmer im spraying the letters and nissan badge on the trunk red

also deus why don't u go with the red led license plate bulbs. i like the look looks better then the blue or white bulbs...my opinion
