I am gonna replace my license plate bulbs to leds what is the stock bulb in there or the led conversion.

 

Replacement guide. Think its the same 168 bulb for LED.

I tried few different white LED bulbs and all of them were looking i mean too bluish, so i decided to go with the M4 White Polargs
Here they are installed

 

Yeah mine are kinda bluish. Looks better than the yellow it normally is though.

 

i just did the same thing on mine but they look white.. i also did the interior lights and i got the same look.

 

i was just looking to replace them with anyhting besides that nasty yellow. so its 168;s then. i'll post pics after i install them after my order gets here. they are 168's/ wedge type right ?

ya over here cops arn't to bad on that i had them on for a while and havn't been bothered. main thing they'll pull you over here for is tints and loud music

 

That's nice of them. I just know that in most states they have to be white (legally)

 

Where can I get these LED lights? Anyone know about swapping the side view mirrors to the Altima 3.5 ones? They have the white blinker lights in them. Can ours be modified. I love that look.

Man that's a little too bright for me, I tend to like more of a stealth look rolling and not blinding the driver behind me...

 

Actually it's not that bright. That's from the picture... These bulbs have like aprx 15% less output compared to the stock ones.

I did ask you yesterday. I was checking if anyone else heard of it or knew where to get the mirrors. I have been looking and cant find. I am waiting for my dealer to get back to me. Just looking for any info I can get.

Here is a picture of the mirror close up, If I find anything I'll spread the word. Hate to beat a horse to death but it looks so much nicer the ours, wonder why the 08 altima gets it but not the 08 Maxima? Bastards....LOL

 

The new 09 Maxima finally got them, I love the look of side mirror turn signals. I wish even an aftermarket company would make them for us...

My recent upgrades (Turbo, Wilwood BBK F/R, Tires/Rims, Tuning, Body & Paint, install) set me back about 12K, when I'm done rebuilding the Tranny add another 3K...

In hindsight a year ago I was going to trade in my Max and drop an additional 20K down for an M45, then I decided to give 5K to the wife and see what kind of fun I could have with 15K modding my Max. My car is also paid off so it's nice to not have a car note either!!!

I think there is a better chance of modding our own mirrors, than swapping Altima mirrors. I have heard about people doing that.

there is a good reason why you cant start one yet. you should look in the STICKIES and use search.

I know Maryland State PoPo would be all over that color if you have Maryland Plates...

lol dude i drive all around...boston, nyc, nj, ct, pa, and my father just drove all the way to north carolina. never once hav i been pulled over for my license plate bulbs. its more for my 5% tints then anythin

i actually took out the plastic covers and placed clear lexan instead.
now its too bright with the white polargs.

ill try to take some pictures this weekend.
easy job and it looks really clean(since they're cleared) haha
