How many miles on the car? Have you used any additives in your gas? A rough idol can be attributed to MAF problem, spark plugs, coil packs, vacuum leaks, a clogged EGR valve or a blown gasket on your intake Manifold. Our cars don't have fuel filters (04+) anymore so you can eliminate that.

Last, you may have also gotten a batch of bad gas and some good premium gas, fuel injector cleaner and punching that b!tch wide open on the road may help...

I have also had the same issue but mine was the connection wires that connect to the IAT. My Max would start and Idle then almost turn off and regain.

As if the connection is 50/50.

Do you have the SES Light? If so... did you get a reading?

check the wiring to the MAF sensor, and all O2 sensors. If all is good get carb cleaner from the store and with car running spray around all the connections for your intake. If it gets sucked in which you will see happen then you have a leak. any leak going in after the MAF will cause this problem. be sure not to spray any electrical connections. I recommend also getting LUCAS fuel system cleaner/ tuneup in a bottle and adding it to the gas tank. Bad gas as previously stated can cause this too. If these don't seem to be the problem take the car back to the muffler shop that did the work and have them check for leaks before the O2 sensors. good luck

Correct, but it's more a series of screens and like I stated, doesn't need to be replaced anymore.
