Hey! I just installed my LED tails and they look great! Install went fairly well but one thing; The actual wire on the connectors that plug into the stock harness, I had to bend them so they made contact inside the socket. (both brake and turn connectors)
Hopefully they won't move from vibration. That's what you get when its made in China...

I'll try out the LED backup lights I got from autolumination.com some time this week (when its dark).

I tried the LED backup lights tonight and...
  1. They are bright when looking at them directly
  2. When in the car; looking back when backing up; The red led tails overpower the backup light - meaning you see more red than white light

Now thats with the 921 Superstar Bulbs With Heat Sinks. Best way to test is back your car up to a closed garage door and put the reverse lights on. You'll see the red LEDs drown out the two reverse lights. I'm pretty sure it will be the same for the 9 LED reverse light but I need someone to try it out.

I have always noticed (even stock) that out reverse bulbs don't really light up the rear area behind the car that well. We used to have a Trailblazer and now have an Odyssey and they both lit up really well. I guess our is more for looks and warning to others!!

I can't wait!!!

Any ideas where I can get other LED lights, like license plate bulbs, reverse bulbs, and Fog Lights?

Question ??? Is it possible to put AMBER led's for the turn signal. I think it would look good and different from stock.

You could but you would have to tear them apart and replace all the LED's. It would have to be a custom job, not just a simple bulb replacement...

So I assume these lights come with led's already? If so, are the turn signal led's never supposed to blow out? Why wouldn't we be able to simply reach them?

First off, What is that wing called on the Max at the front? Is that factory?
Second, what is that front bumper cover on the one at the bottom of your quote on your post?

Just trying to learn!! Thanks

Jesse

Hey everyone - (or more precisely Max2damax), the turn signal of my left light blew out today. I noticed it because the car started fast blinking. The light works just fine except for the turn signal.

What/how do i do about getting this fixed?

Thanks, I did try to take the existing lights off, however they are very hard to get loose. I unscrewed the bolts and the lights were able to move a bit, but I am having a problem pulling them straight out.. They just don't seem to budge.. Any suggestions on getting them out?

Yeah, pull harder. Besides the 2 bolts you removed there's 2 tabs on the outer side of the light. Try to pull evenly on the light (and don't forget the painted part is connected to the light housing (the part that runs along the back part of the trunk, in the top right on the inset pic above)
