It was 2 sided foam tape between the body colored piece and the top of the tail light. That was what took me so long was removing the panel from the light.

One week they have been in and now I am having some issues with the passenger side light. I have the black and brown wiring in my car, plugs are in tight, and I have checked them. But the issue is that I have lights, but as soon as I hit the brakes, they go completely out. I know that others have said that it is a connection, but the connections are tight, and solid. Worked perfectly for an entire week, and now this. Going to take it out tonight and see if I can play with it to get it to work properly. No fun, I really hope I can get the issue resolved.

Be patient with these lights. With the car OFF, I used a small flat screw driver to push the pins over so that they make contact with the inside of the stock connectors. No problem after that. Oh yeah, Meguire's Plastx headlight cleaner works great for these tails. They shine and glow like wax for exterior lights, concerning too.

I am starting to receive condensation (which disappears as it gets hotter in the day) on both of my tails. Any recommendation? I installed the black tails on 8 May 2008. What is the warranty on the lights? Does 'condensation' mean I have a small air leak allowing moisture inside the light? There is NO standing water, it's small in nature but it (condensation) streaks along the bottom 1/4 of the light.

Nope.
But DO put masking tape on the bumper that surrounds the taillight.
That way when your tugging out the old light, you wont scratch the bumper.

What he said plus you will need to remove the plastic snaps inside the trunk area and pull back the trunk lining to access the two bolts that hold each light in. The plastic piece above the tail light will come off with the light when you pull it off and you'll just have to transfer it to the new light. Last, when tugging them off pull straight back because there are some alignment posts and sometimes you have to pull some extra muscle in it but they will come off!!!
