How often do you bleed your brakes?
Which technique do you use?

My car is 4 years old and 40K miles, probably never been bled.
Bleed screws are kinda rusted but dealer wants 10$ each, which is retarded imo.

How often do you bleed yours, and how often do you think it's really necessary? Some people say every year, some say never...

Moisture eventually gets inside the lines and can rush from the inside out. At a minimun bleed them when you change the brake pads. Spray WD40 on the bleeders the day before. Add DOT3 or DOT4 to the reservoir, and bleed the rear first.

Hold brake pedal down, loosen bleeder. When pedal hits the floor, lock bleeder, release brake pedal. Repeat until oil coming out is clean (need second person for the brake pedal). Keep an eye on the brake fluid level. Top up between each wheel.
