Need Advice on Rims and Tires

Sup guys,

I need some help getting my first set of rim and tires for my car this summer. I'm looking to get 20" rim and tires for my car, but have a few questions.

1. Is 20" rims too big? Will they rub the wheel wells when i take turns? I know that also depends on the size of tire i wanna get and if my car has been lowered. That brings up my second question.

2. My car has never been lowered, it's stock. I have the Max 04 SL, which came with 17" rims. The tires i'm looking to get for my 20" rims are the profile just before you get to low profile, whatever that size is? I'm guessing 40's??? The reason why i wanna get 40s is because i live in NY and we have a lot of pot holes here and i really don't want to crack my rims just cruising around. So what do you guys think?

3. I saw this pic below of these rims but i totally forgot whose profile i got them off of, can anyone identify them if you know what brand they are?
