9006's fit 9012's???

What up homies!!

Ok I just want to confirm something. Ive seen a few super old post that state that the 9006 headlight bulb is identical to the 9012 OEM except that the 9006 has an extra tab that needs to be filed down. Can anyone please confirm?

If so, I really can use a quick run down on how I can remove my front bumper. My B-Day is this month and my mechanic (aka ol' lady as most of you know haha) will buy me a HID conversion Kit 6K but none come in 9012. Unless anyone can tell me where I can find one. Let me know homies!!

Grim, I JUST did the conversion a day or two ago. My 9006 kit fit fine, I didn't have to file down anything, I kind of had to use a little wedging to get the bulb in there but no modifications.
