Lighting Problem

I tried installing my cornering lights. I installed them and went to see if they worked... I turned on my headlights and nothing... Then i noticed my parking lights aren't working....

Lights that dont work now:

All dash lights (except speedometer, and a/c)

All my constant lights (back and front)

Turn signals all work...

Cornering lights don't work....

I looked at the fuses and they all seem fine...

My headlights work.... I was talking to my sisters b/f and he said it could be my relay.... any thoughts??? this needs to get fixed ASAP!!!!

s there a special relay or fuse for our power lights.... (parking lights) i checked all the fused in the front and in the car... and nothing was blown....
from what i saw....

Theres multiple fuse locations on the maxima. 1 to the left and down of the steering while in-cabin. 1 next to the battery on the drivers side under the hood. And the 3rd which DOES contain the 15A mini fuse for the lights is on the passengers side near the windshield washer fluid fill tube.

cornering lights only come on when your signal is on...hence "cornering" lights. park lights area a fairly common problem just a bulb tho usually...dash lights are just little peanut bulbs...yes its the real technical term and you have to pull out the gauge cluster to change them.

lol i just found that out.... right before i read your post... i checked the 15a fuse and yupp that was it... now my problem is i turned on my signals turn on and my led cornering lights aren't coming on and the fuse is blowing.... so i'm gunna switch the bulb around and see if that fixed it. ugh i hope it does...

I had the same issue when i installed them in my cornering lights. I dunno whats up with that but i think the regular oem bulbs are bright enough anyway. Besides, with my hid's on along with my 3K hid fogs, nobody will be able to see the cornering lights due to being blinded.

When I had cornering lights, i had the same problem. Everytime I tried to install them the fuse blew. People have gotten it to work not sure what they did different though..
I since wired in aftermarket "puddle" type LED's and they work fine...

Try a 20amp fuse. I had to do this when I installed a air horn.

as far as the ricer blink just load a resistor... but yea i noticed autoalumination sent me 3157. and our cars take 3156 in the cornering lights...that could be the reason i keep blowing fuses... so i just wrote to them... see what happens
