JDM VIP Side Mirrors on 6th?

Curious because i found some JDM Side mirror blinkers for a 350z
but they look very similar to the 6th gen side mirrors.

does anyone know for a fact if they are the same mirrors or not?

I believe the 350Z mirror is of a different shape than ours. It seems to me that it would not be that hard to make mirror covers out of fiberglass and embed LEDs in them.

Actually there is a member who rolls in a black 6th gen who made his own LED turn signals on his mirrors. I was considering buying two shells from a junk yard and making some but my schedule is too damn busy this year!!!

Im not sure how to do it. Do I make the mirror cover and then cut a hole for LED strip to go in and mold it to the cover, or make the cover around the LED strip? Time for research

My OEM mirrors suck. I think that we need completely new mirrors, just like the JDM folding ones made for the 4th and 5th gen. They are tinted with awesome led blinkers(better than most MB's...!) and also the glass is designed for the "blind spot". Just a thought

Not a bad idea, but damn 170 for chrome covers wtf? Then another 100 minimum to have them painted..Another 60 or so for lights and the lenses..Talk about expensive for no reason..aaha
