Foglight Rewire 2008

Hey Guys,

This may sound silly but is it possible to do the foglight rewire on a 2008? I did a search and nothing came up for 6 gen. I was thinking about doing this tomorrow but wanted to clear this with the members before I do so.

Any idea if there's a 6th gen write up somewhere?

Thanks!!

Most people in this forum own 2004 - 2006, a few have 2007 and 2008.

Your question is confusing, why would you want to rewire a 2008 fog lights ?
Aren't they already on ?
rewire them to what ?

sorry.. didn't mean to confuse.

Rewiring as in being able to control the fog lights independent from the headlights.

ok.

If I was doing this, I would probably buy a wire kit and splice it right by the fog light.

what are you planning to do?

thanks everyone. I did it on my 4th gen but the tricky part comes in with the 08 Auto Sensor lights. I just wanted to make sure that I don't mess anything up with the auto sensor lights... (when you set it to Auto and the lights come on at dusk).

Thanks!!
