Man, nice work. That is sick. Ive been planning on giving my liquid silver max some blue accents, this would top it off. I'll be getting in touch with you when i'm ready for that sickness inside my car

correct... they're like the size of a pencil point. not like the other generations that have the longer prongs that you can get at radioshack...

do you think there id any way to keep the key light lite up even while driving? I think it would look pretty hot having that circle glow, the whole time, other then just when the car is not on..I wonder how easy that could be?

I am actually in the process (when I am not preparing for the TD's, TS's or hurricanes that are supposed to come this way (FL)) of researching this, but I think you'd obviously change it to an SMT Tower and run a lead (power) wire from a terminal in the wiring assembly to the the power in your headlight stem (on your steering wheel). I agree, with the R, N, D, etc lit up white, the 'ring' would set off the interior also. I'll keep you and everyone else posted.

yes it can be done... just run the wire to anything interior that stays on or has a constant flow once the car is on... good luck

My LED's thanks to ~thealliance~

sorry it took forever, but here it is... I must say, the pictures don't do the job justice because it looks phenomenal in person. Thanks again for all the work you put on when you did my lights !!! I got my gears, my doors, my controls on the bottom left side done, and as you can see the central console, LED screen, and speedometer.

does anyone know where i can get clear courtesy lights for my 04 max. I've been searching up and down for them. I have some great blue LEDs i want to use, but need clear covers instead of the factory red ones.

Clear door lenses can be ordered here: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocatorKeySearch&siteid=213999 &chapter=ARF3630&catalogid=2&year=2004&make=25&mod el=Armada / from here you'll type in courtesy in the lower left hand search box. Once the link comes up, there is only one ($14.70 each) These WILL fit.

It looks pretty easy to remove the instrument cluster. Does the car record your miles if you drive it without the instrument cluster attached?

No it cant. The EPROM chip that records mileage is stored within the instrument cluster.

Can the dealer tell if there are some miles on the car that weren't recorded on instrument cluster? I'm seeing instrument clusters for sale on eBay with only 32k or 38k miles on them. (Those are for autos, and mine's a stick.)

Seems like an easy way to rig the miles on a used car.

can be rigged but is not recommended because they're other ways to find out... such as carfax etc. DMV may also find out... so just be-careful.... but other then that... lets move on

who's next??
