Im pretty sure this is for automatic maximas..but does anybody know what this wire is for? I'm thinking maybe the lighting in the automatic shifter that lights up the "P R N D" etc. Im just wondering what its for..and if I can use it to hard-wire some accessories in that area of the car.

 

The small brown connector is for the light at the shifter trim and the white one beside it is for the hazard lights.
