Ive heard of people doing it themselves. Problem some people have is when taking off the hose leaking refrig. into the air. Doubt the epa would find out. You could do the hose yourslef and then get it recharged. I did one on my old bonnevile 3 times. It kept leaking.

its not hard to do. i'm assuming its the lower side AC hose that's leaking? its basically one bolt connected to the AC line going to the firewall and the bolt at the compressor. the only issue you would have would be removing the what is left of the current refrigerant. you need 1.21oz of refrigerant you can get the hose kits + refrigerant pepboys.

Think it comes with a hose and a gauge. Atleast the ones Ive seen. If you wanna spend more money and buy it seperate cars you can do that and just buy cans.
