New 20" Staggered Wheels

New 20" Staggered Wheels
Well, I finally got rid of the 22s an went with a
20 inch Staggered Wheel Set-up. The Front consist
of > 20x8.5 Wheels with a +34 offset and 245/35/20 Tires.
The Rear consist of > 20x10 with a +40 offset and 275/30/20 tires.
I'm debating on either shining up the Blue Calipers or painting
them Red. The car has not been detailed for about a week
an the rims have finger print smears all over them. Plus, the tires
have NO shine on the them. So, forgive me for the crappy pics.

DUB Bomber 5 [Staggered Wheels]
The comments are very much appreciated guys! The ride quality is unbelievable...
I'm completely shock that there's NO rubbing in the rear what-so-ever.
I mean you can literally slide your fingers back & fourth between the Wheels &
Tires by where the quarter panel is with ease. A lot of people though it would
be really close or even scrub, but that's not the case here @ all. I do have to
add that I shaved some of the quarter panel down a bit when I had my 22s. That's
probably why they fit so easy. The suspension consist of Koni Adj Struts, KYB
AGX Adj.Shocks, Racingline Front & Rear Endlinks, Nismo S-Tune Sway Bars
[front & Rear] and AG Suspension Springs that drop the ride a little below 2 inches front & Rear.

Glad you guys like the New Staggered Wheels. The Brand
is called "DUB Wheels" an there the Bomber 5 style. They
just came out with this style in 2008 which means the look
will be fresh for awhile. There not my dream staggered wheels
but I really appreciate them a lot.

he actually converted his 04 front end to 07..thus the primered hood and grill. There isn't anything rice about it..I doubt its a money issue since he had the money to buy the 07 hood, 07 bumper, and 07 headlights..more of just not having the time to put the car in the shop..

doing mods before fixing small things on your car: ricer attitude
putting on body panels without painting them: rice

wheel Size Quest
Hey bud. maximas lookin good. im also lookin into staggered wheels and the wheel of choice is only made in a 20X10 5-114.3 35HSM for the rear wheels. Do you remember any rear wheel offset restrictions. I see urs are a +40. Do you think this wheel will fit the rear and take a 275 30 20?

Hay! Thanks for the comments guys the New Staggered wheels
are awesome. I'm receiving a lot of positive feedback on them
including the over-all appearance of the ride. Blackmax07, you
where right about the information RE: the front end conversion
from an 05 to a complete 07. It was a lot of fun completing that
particular project. MissMiami! Good to see your postings girl, hope
all is going well including your studies. Can't wait to possible see
you an the crew down south again or maybe @ a Central Florida meet.
Hint! Hint! Can't wait to share my next mod with you guys here and
over on the 6thGenmaxima site. OH! I almost forgot to respond about
the Front & Rear offsets of my wheels along with other possible offsets
that could work on the 6th Gen Max. The +40 offset in the rear of my
ride fits so darn good that I literally have room to slide my fingers back
& forth freely without snugness. When I had my 22s I filed down
about half of an inch of the inner panel to avoid any complications
in the near future for wider/aggressive wheel offsets. You can't even
tell that it was altered slightly with a smooth grinder blade, which basically
filed it down very nicely. My ride currently has AG Suspension Springs made
for the 2004-2007 Altima which drops my ride 2" in the rear and a little over
2" in the front. Handles/performs wonderfully along with the upgraded
suspension components. I'm actually doing more research on what offset
ranges that the maxima will allow. So far in the rear +38 to +45 is a go
and +34, +35, +38 in the front is the comfort zone. But I'm pretty sure
the bar can be raised due to our really large wheel wells. Anyways,
I'll keep you guys posted!

rear offset
So does the number literally represent a distance in millimeters? Does that mean that if ur wheels have a 40 offset flush to the edge of the vehicle body then the 35 would stick out 5 mm farther out? I guess im trying to simplify it for purchasing reasons. If it does stick out a bit will it rub the fender and if so does filling it down or rolling it help it out? thanks for all ur help guys. i just want to make sure im not narrowing my choices due to lack of knowledge.

Hay! I understand completely because it was driving me nuts receiving inaccurate
specs/information on what could & couldn't work for our maxima's offsets. From my
understanding the lower the offset the wider it sicks out from the fender & quarter
panel. I was really close to ordering a Stag set that had +36 in the rear which does
stick out but very flush in the rear. An, it probably would have required some filing
of the quarter panel. NOT rolling! You'd be amazed with how wide our wheel wells
actually are and what low offsets could work. So, in conclusion the rear can except
a 20x10 or 20x10.5 with an offset as low as +37. I truly believe we could go lower,
but so far I've honestly witness one 6thgen maxima with stags that low in the rear.
Now, being that the front has a smaller width of 8.5 or 9 it sort of counter balances
how much they actually protrude away from the front fenders. My +34 offsets sit in
a lot, I mean I could have easily gone with a much lower offset in the front to get them
to plump out a bit more. Keep me posted because like I mentioned earlier I'm doing a lot
more research on how low of an offset we can obtain.

I truly appreciate the replies/comments guys.
The calipers will be painted red to really set off
the appearance a bit more. Plus, a few more secret
mods that I have up my sleeves.
