It looks good! Now, you have to install an up
to par grille to match that unique looking hood.

My friend has a similar hood on his rx8. After a quick drive you can feel the heat being released from the vents.

Can you get the hood w/o CF but with the vents? If so how much?

BTW....AWESOME WORK! This truly fits the 6th gen cars.

Please do. (Shipping the same...$140 or would it be less do to a lighter weight?) Would love to get a non CF hood but with the vents. Your work, once again is flawless. Keep me posted. If I went with CF, but most likely will not, how do you clean and keep CF looking fresh and new? I have been told you CAN NOT wax carbon fiber? Will sun fade it? Just asking because I am sure it will come up later.

That makes my stecker pick out!

I suggest a disclaimer for those hoods. You don't want anyone with rain damage coming back and trying to sue you for damages caused by your hood bro! Just to be on the safe side.

Issue of liability is always a b!tch when in the production business.

Would be cool if somehow there was a way to catch the rain runoff from the vents and funnel it away from the engine bay.

I think the product looks great and props for all that you are doing for more aftermarket products for the 6th gen but is there an alignment or fitment issue near the passenger headlight? Not hating just asking.

na, its just that the hood pivots at the hinge, and since I dont have the rubber hood stops, its a bit higher on that side and lower on the other.

Even if it's not stated? You're a lawyer? I guess Nissan shouldn't fix the notorious shimmy since "the buyer assumes the risk"? I'm sure I'm wrong but that's my thinking on it. A simple statement is more of "making the customer aware that they assume the risk". I've seen "being ignorant" work into many cases at my place of work. A little bit goes along way.

Back on topic, I still love this hood. It would be cool to paint the roof black, and have this hood. Max2damax, how do you plan on incorporating into your silver car? What's the master plan?

there seems to be more of a risk assumed for aftermarket parts. I dont know if it is know whether there is a risk of damage caused by water going through vents in hood.

I still want this hood. I wish a solution was made available so I could be confident in purchasing one. Maybe a write up eventually and then made into a sticky. That would even help sell more hoods in the long run.

thanks guys for all the comments!, I love this hood and right now I see it as my baby, I also can't wait to get the bumpers next month, I really think it will come together really nawwice , as for a paint scheme, Im still thinking about it, one think im almost certain is that I'll do some sort of transparent vehicle wrap with parts of my logo on the hood, something really subtle and not over the top, I will also most likely paint the roof black, as for the bumper, I dunno we will see once they are on the car. I might even paint the center of my wheels black, but im not to sure about that one
