Brake pad advice

I need to replace my 04SL brake pads and turn the rotors. As a weekend highway driver, is there any reason to prefer ceramic to standard pads? Thanks...

Says the max comes with ceramic pads.

Alot of people use Hawk hp or EBC Red Stuff pads.

For a weekend driver, Hawk and EBS is total overkill. Check the group deals section for the PBR/Axxis pads.

I agree also. When its time to replace my pads, I'll probably get Bendix CQ Ceramic Brake Pads at my local AdvanceAuto. At the same time, I'll replace the front rotors to Powerslot rotors from TireRack. My wheel shakes a bit when braking at high speeds.

Thanks, guys. Decided on ProStop ceramics ($44 for front) from Pep Boys. They seem to work just fine. Now, all I have to do is to convert my baby to run on E85 (jk).
