Wow good luck man defimitly part out and sell it. To private sell sux but you will get more money. If you trade it trade it you would be luck to get 11k. My 04 has 48k SE fully loaded I mean everthing. I was only getting 12-13k and had to really push them on the deal on their car. But everyone started at 10-11k. Our cars do not hold value especial since gas is $4.33.. Everone wants a 4 bangger.

Keep it. KBB.com. ouch 10K-12K trade in, $14K to a friend.
Go to edmunds.com and check out the 'true cost to own' tab or 'average cost per mile' to compare the cost of your car against your future ride. Mine came out the same an Acura TSX. The only way I see you save is if you buy a used 4 cyl Hyundai (high depreciation).
Dealer will give you wholesale price for trade-in, and you pay retail for the next ride. Taxes to Cali. You loose.
My 1999 Camry 4 cyl was getting 32 on hwy and low 20 in city. My Max will easily do 28 on hwy, 30-31 on cruise.
If you drive 20-25K a year, keep the MAx and get a Honda Fit or something to commute. Move closer to work. Use the Metro for part of the drive. Keep the Max.
