hey guys havent been here for a while since i sold my 1998 maxima. anyway im back with a new maxima 2008 i bought wit some damage. well heres the thing i need a new front bumper...new fog lights...new driver door...new right fender and a new hood. minor damage but i dont know whether i need to get these parts from only a 07-08 maxima or can i get any of them from 2004-2008 maximas? thanks for the replies by the way its a 2008 maxima s.l

Some of the parts for 07-08 are different from 04-06, such as front bumper. So make sure you buy the right parts. Best of luck.

 

thanks but which of these parts can i take from 04-07 maxima? like i know the bumper wont be the same but what about the hood and the left fender and foglights? also my door has the keyless entry button and i need the driver door

As for the parts. Just the fender and door are interchangeable. I mean they would fit any 04-08' Maxima

The door-assy is absolutely the same. Just swap the rest from your old door to the new one

 

The hood, headlights, bumpers, and fog lights are NOT interchangable. The headlights and the design of the front of the hood and bumper is diff in the 07-08 than 04-06. As for the keyless thing, I think it's a feature on the door handle, but I could be wrong. I suggest calling the local dealer about the keyless thing on the doors. A fellow org member converted the 04 to an 07 look, and he had to buy the 07 hood, lights, and bumper to convert it.

Dealers aren't really the most honest & trusted place on earth... I got screwed over big time by one. Anyhow, all you need to ask them is if the keyless feature of the 08 is in the handle or is it a wired device that's installed in the door... see what they say. Based on that, you can choose between the 04 door or only an 08

 

yeah thanks i called the dealer yesterday they said the keyless button is just on the handle and i can just attach the current handle i have on my 08 to an 04 door.
