Has anyone done this, and is it possible..From what I understand having HID's with no Projector is almost a waste..I upgrade my h11 fogs on my 07, to 6k HID's..Anyhow, I noticed the output isn't that great..Sure it looks clean and white, but the beam scatters..due to no projector right? How much of an effect would a projector have on these? Eh bored/ wondering..thanks

try TSX projectors. i hear its got a great cut off line ... worth a shot ... good luck post pics of the project

i converted my 04 to the 08 bumper and added oem fogs. instead of the oem h11 halogens, i put in h11 3k hids and imo, the beam stays pretty good on the ground

wow thats clean...I still regret getting 6k sometimes..most of the time I get compliments, but pure white just doesn't stand out..and I'm not really down with the whole pure blue/purple..3k might be in my future..

thanks blackmax! its not purple, those are the oem h3 bulbs [just replaced a month or so ago.] my headlights are 6k and fogs at 3k. i dont know why it looks purple, lol.

no not yours..just overall I don't like purple/blue..thus I got 6k for my fogs..but now i regret it, I shouldve goten 3k.
