Sad day for my maxima

i was on the way home from work, mindin my own business, when all of a sudden a pothole comes and attacks me. true story. hah, but yea went through an ugle pothole and cracked my front rightside rim =(, gonna call the shop i go to for some of my mods to see if they can

1. repair the rim
2. order 1 rim and keep the hopefully repaired one as a spare.

when i do get a new "shoe" for my max, is there gonna be a problem since i'll have 1 new wheel, and the other 3 have been on for a while now?

Thanks

Potholes are our cars worst enemy. Seems no matter what you do you cant miss them all.

you shouldnt have a problem if one rim is new... just make sure they balance it right... I dont even think you to re-align ur wheels... not sure though (about alignment). You can do alignment just to be on the safe side

Take it and get it aligned to be sure you haven't bent a control arm or strut like I did after hitting a pot hole.

The only problem is if you replace the tire and it is new compared to the other tires. Just make sure that you put the new tire on the back of the car and not the front.

I know because the dealership just did this to me and they put the worst tire I have on the front left and the new tire on the front right and now when I hit the gas it tugs really hard to the right and the first time I did this after I picked her up it almost snatched the wheel out of my hand. Plus the new tire is making this terrible humming noise and it gets really loud around 60.

If I were you, I'd go back to the stealership and raise hell as if hell broke loose until they fix it right.... but again, that's just me

As far as I know, It shouldn't be. You should also look into the city/county that you live in and see if you can get a claim for this unfortunate incident.

i took out all 4 rims and replaced them w. the stock rims for now, and it seems fine. the one thing i have a problem with is when i break, theres a "clack clack clack" noise when i break sometimes and when i hit small bumps. im in boston now, so when i get back to nj, im gonna get it check out, but if you guys know anything or what it could be, just let me know, and thanks for the info about the suspension, im probably gonna change it soon neway.
