Projector Aiming question

are the projectors in the Non-HID same height as the ones with HID's . i'm asking because i bought a set from ebay and they are way off ... does any one know if they are the same height from the wall .. are all the car's this way? thanks. also i want to put the HID's on asap so any info will be greatly appreciated.

i know its 25' from the wall ... but how high for the non HID-projectors and the OEM HID projectors... thanks

You should park 25' away from a wall on a level surface. Measure from the ground to the center of your projector then walk up to the wall and make a mark 2 inches lower than the measurement you took from the ground to the center of the projector lens. That's where your beam should be adjusted to. As I'm sure you're aware, the beam pattern looks similar to this: ___/---- You want the low part, before the step, to be level with the mark you made on the wall. By the way, it's the same adjustment for HID and non-HID projectors.

Thanks a lot. but can i just park 25' away and mark the non hid projector's beam and then replace it to the HID ones and trace the beam pattern that way? it would be easier? thanks for the answer bro. really appreciated.
