Fun meet. Ten 6th Gen Maximas showed up- nice turn out. Lots of food, cars and heat. Some highlights were Max2daMax's car with the new body kit and Lambo .. . . er I mean ferrari brakes, Graymax's LED turn signal mirrors and my headers. Here are some pics:

we ended up not trying the bumper cause 1 cars were being judged (we tried to keep all the finger prints off our black cars ) and 2 it was hot as hell

There were a LOT of nice cars. We represented the Max community ... but that Barney Mobile ruined the image of the Maxima LOL. That thing looked hideous and very ugly. Graphics were not made for a Max.. Maybe a lowrider 65 Impala or something, but definitely not a max. That guy had TVs behinds the front headrests AND on the headrests of the rear passengers, facing the front... just ridiculous. We all pretended not to know him...LOL. Other than that, it was a very nice meet. My first time meeting the org group, so it was a blast. Hopefully we do a meet again soon... this time night time meet.

 

yea I hear you about the night meet, it was HOT.!, next time remind me not to wear sandals

 

If next time we're having a night meet... then you can still wear sandals LOL. If it was a daytime meet, I'll PM you personally and remind you not to wear sandals.

Is this the "Barney Mobile"? IDK it has a certain something I like about it. Maybe it's the deep dish on the wheels. I mean, I'd never do that but if all he does is go from show to show it might be okay.

One disappointment on it to me was the stock mufflers, all that work and still cruising stock mufflers looks out of place.

 

It's not really "the" barney mobile... I just called it that becuz of it's purple theme... it was just too much. The guy no tail lights. He put red bulbs in place of his reverse lights.. and the only light you see when he brakes is the interior brake on the rear deck. Modding a car is somethin... and goin overboard with nonsense is another thing.

+1 on the stocks muffler... the least he can do is change the tips lol.

 

The last thing on the head of people who customize cars like that is anything that has to do with the drivetrain. , thus the phrase "all show no go". I ain't hating lets just say its a different branch on the customizing world.

you know what I must say...this is DAMN good looking group of 6th gens..... everyone has something unique with their ride. Some good ideas!

 

the black max with the chrome wheels was the best max there. it should of won best of show. not that lame widebody wrx.
