07/ 08 Crew, Stat Button.

Does anyone else find it stupid that we have the twist ****, and the altima has the nice clean push button..Now since we already have the intelligent key and what not..I was wondering would the push button from the altima work..It looks like it would be a direct fit..I'm sure a few wires would have to be worked on, but I'm sure the button would fit perfectly..Just wondering, anyone plan on doing this? Any ideas?

After coming from a push button, I actually prefer the twist ****. It is a PIA pushing the button over and over to get on, assesory, or start, and if your engine is running, you have to turn it all the way off, then back on. I can imagine my seats going all over the place with the push button (damn entry exit feature). With the twist you just put it where you want it. Of course the push button does look cooler...

I have an '08 Highlander and '08 Max and I definitely prefer the push button to the twist ****.

i had thought about the same thing....switching it out but my connect at the dealer said that the push button was a test run on the altima to work out any kinks, hence the install in the 09 Max... at first i was kinda underimpressed with the twist **** but i actually like it now...so no plans to change for me

I must admitt the push button is nice, but does it really matter if you have to turn the **** vs. pushing a button? At least you don't have to take your keys out of your pocket. Its all about convenience, which you get with both.

And for tricks? Drumroll please .................... it turns your car on.
