7th Gen 19" Sport Wheels
I just bought a brand new set of four. The deal sounded to good to pass up. $1000 for the wheels and tires.
I have researched the wheels and found out they are 19 X 8 with a HUGE +50mm offset. By my measurements they will barely clear the front brake calipers.
I'm thinking +15mm spacers should set her just right on the stance...maybe even 20mm. If my thinking is correct +20mm spacers will be even with G35 8" wide +30mm wheels (which I currently have). I can even do +15mm fronts and +20mm backs to give it a staggered look (and still be able to rotate front to back). I might even be able to get away with +25mm. I am a little worried about the propensity to vibrate as the wheel spacers get thicker.
I am about to order so any input will be appreciated. Please help a Brotha.
BTW PerformanceCenter.com has the best prices on Eibach wheel spacers. I ran accross some funny stuff. Someone with a 2004 maxima gave the spacers a 3 star due to the tire rubbing the fender. Guess what he ordered? +25mm spacers for his stock rims. LOL That would bring his offset to only +15mm. Oh gee what a suprise it's rubbing.

With the immense amount of feedback I got I settled on +15mm for the fronts, and +20mm on the rears.
I needed to order fast because the wheels will be here Monday.
Pics to follow...

Without me saying anything the expert said both the 2009 18's and 19's (makes perfect sense) have a offset of +50mm.
Diameter of the wheel "as long as the profile of the tire keeps the circumfrence the same" has no bearing on the appropiate offset.
Thanks KC

245/40/19 vs 255/40/19? Gives a little more sidewall?

Yeah it will give slightly more sidewall but hardly noticeable.
Traction wise they were horrible to me compared to my Dunlops that I have now. When they spun the screeched really loud, the Dunlop's spin is hardly audible and it hooks up right away, especially when warm. I never had the cracking issues others did, but they did wear out unevenly and I rotated and balanced quite often too.
On a side note; I see some police cruisers use RSAs too. I laugh everytime I see it wondering how they'll be able to handle turns if they were at high speed.

Confucius say, "chop inner wheel hub and wheel won't stix out as far..."
Thanks bud, me too. I am also curious from a ride/handling perspective.
You Sir, will be getting detailed pics of before and after, + shots chronicalling the wheels with and without spacers from a pictorial view.
Here is my guess, I will take a hit on grip BIG time (255 PS2's versus 245 RSA's), slightly better ride quality, less responsive, worse braking, nicer looks, worse gas mileage, slightly slower, uhh, someone explain to me what I'm doing.
Anybody want to buy some new 19's?

I think ull get better gas mileage since tires are narrower unless tread pattern is a factor. Also, ur slightly taller RSAs will give u a slightly lower rpm at any given speed.

I agree assuming another 12 pounds a wheel is not a big factor.
I'm estimating the wheels themselves weigh 35 pounds. The tires weigh 27 pounds.
My current set is wheels 25 pounds and tires 25 pounds.
I'll let you know Dues what the combo weighs in at as soon as I get the them.
